so for the past two days,
students, teachers and other staff members were busy getting frazzled and stressed out bout the
exhibition which was held tonight.
overall, a job well done.
it looked soo cool.
so out of most of my things,
eight (including my booklet which wasnt so obvious considering it was stuck in a glass cupboard -.- and some photography photos) actually got put out considering the limited amount of space they had to
make sure they would showcase something from everyone.
i'll admit, i was a tad bit disappointed that two of my pieces which my teacher
took didnt make it out on the wall but yeah.
i didnt take that many photos.(i have to warn you)
so it started out in the hallway where we saw who got the cover design
and i think mine did not do justice.

the front cover by Raquel
who is amazing in photoshop.

the back cover. by saheed i think. i dont remember what his name was, but i think this concept
was sooo cool.
i had something similar, but he just made mine look like crap.

along the hallway was photocopied prints of students drawings from the visual diary we
were given at the start and guess what was right at the end. :)
yeah dont ask me why they had it sideways, im wondering the same. people had to tilt their heads.
yes, i watched for a while to see people stop and stare.
makes you feel good when they go all shock and amazed.
then to the pne room.

spot the M.
and that's mine ;)

the lighting work.
incase i never showed you mine, it's this,

yeap.

now feast your eyes on some of the cool artistic kids did.
i wish i had that idea.
heh

this is sooo cantik

yes, it's real gummy bears.
i even smelt it. HAHA. yumm.

some architecture models that were SOOOO pretty. two of which was done by the same person for the stream assignment which was where we had to do something that
had relevance with what we wanted to do next year.
and for me,
i did this. hahaha
it does not compare, i know.

my stream assignment
of doing a graphic interface which would interact with people
by designing their own paper shoe.
then there's the main area which you see below,

and this is where all the rendering assignments were put up and
when i looked at all of them,
i understood why mine wasnt chosen. they were godlike.
soooooo much detail. it's amazing.
then there was the design/new media room where
most of the sketching and mixed media and logo design went.

my collage which was right smacked in the middle.
(forgot to take more pictures round the room. WHOOPS. )
then matthew (the coordinator) gave a speech

doesnt he look like lex luther from smallville. :p
students had to help cater

but of course they were able to sneak a few bites. :)
overall, it's a good exhibition.
props to vanessa who organized the whole thing.
i would have loved to see my style assignment and my rendering out on display
bt oh well.
:)
sometimes i've thought about what it would have been like to come back with
results from having done chemistry or physics or something which involved papers and
essays and stuff.
answer: it doesnt feel as good as seeing your work on display ;)
obviously there are better ones as compared to mine, but i remind myself constantly,
there are things ive done people cant do and that's all that matters to me.
that i could be great among the best out there.
xx
